Manhood is a construct asking to be reconsidered, reimagined, reformed, re-loved. Through a belief in concrete as an emotional sponge, constantly on the verge of public tears, my work attempts to engage masculinity as a burden, a weight, a facade, a material.

A mixture of flesh and expectations, which hardens over time. Common, yet Nobel. Porous, yet petrified. Garrisoned, yet destructible.
